Eze Village and Nice
Eze is a small village between Monte Carlo and Nice, which leaves you speechless contemplating its romantic and beautiful landscape. An enchanting place, full of typical stone houses, breathtaking views of the sea, charming hotels, artistic ateliers, small typical restaurants. In Eze it is advisable to make a guided visit to the historic perfume factory FRAGONARD.
Afterwards transfer to Nice, where the city tour starts from Avenue Jean Medecin known for its famous brand stores, at the end of which is the elegant Place Messena with its splendid 19th century buildings. Stroll along the Promenade des Anglais and the old part of town with colorful houses in the Marchè Aux Fleur Square.
Saint Paul de Vence and Cannes
Saint Paul de Vence is also known as the “Village of Artists”, it is charming with its small stone houses, stores selling typical objects, artists’ studios, churches and restaurants.
After leaving Saint Paul de Vence you reach Cannes, known for being the city where the Film Festival is held every year. Cannes offers enchanting views, wide beaches, and a charming old town. Boulevard de la Croisette, the avenue that runs along the seafront, has become a catwalk for international stars and celebrities. In this stretch of about 2 km there are the stores of the most prestigious fashion and luxury brands, as well as the Palais de Festival, the location that every year hosts the Film Festival during the month of May. After visiting the most modern part of Cannes, we go up to le Suquet, the old part of town, where there is a 22-meter-high medieval tower that dominates the entire city, and the Gothic church Notre Dame de L’Esperance.
Monte Carlo and Menton
Once in Monte Carlo, we will go up to the Principality of Monaco to see the majestic Palace of the Princes and assist in the changing of the guard. It is pleasant to walk through the typical narrow streets and arrive at the Exotic Garden rich in plants and flowers from all over the world. At the center of the Principality you will see the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception where inside there are the tombs of Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier III.
In the afternoon visit of Menton, we head immediately on the waterfront, the Promenade du Soleil, with many small restaurants with inviting scents. Behind the promenade lies the old town, full of characteristic narrow streets with French stores selling typical products. Going along Rue Saint-Michel you arrive at the beautiful Place du Cap until you reach the port where you can reach the Lighthouse of Menton through a long walkway overlooking the sea. Once here you have a view of the whole town, a breathtaking scenic spot.
